- Taqabbalallahu Minna Wa Minkum Meaning
This du’a was read by Prophet Abraham and his son Ismail (AS) when they finished the construction of the Ka’bah.
Rabbana Taqabbal Minna Dua
This dua is from Surah Baqarah verse 127.
رَبَّنَا تَقَبَّلْ مِنَّآ ۖ إِنَّكَ أَنتَ ٱلسَّمِيعُ ٱلْعَلِيمُ
Rabbana taqabbal minna inaka Antas Samee’ul Aleem
Our Lord, accept [this] from us. Indeed You are the Hearing, the Knowing.

Benefits and Why One Should Recite This Dua:
From this ayah we can learn that the believer should not be satisfied with his or her actions alone.
Islam is a religion where the intent is more important than the action itself. This is why in the Quran, Surah Ma’un ayat 4-7 it say’s, “woe to those who pray. [But] are heedless of their prayer – Those who make show [of their deeds]. And withhold [simple] assistance.”
It’s actually counter productive to pray if your mind is wandering elsewhere, we have do our duties with high level of intense concentration and focus.
Similarly, as Prophet Ibrahim, may peace be upon him, after finishing his duty humbly asked Allah (SWT) to accept what was done. What this shows us is that his true intention was pure, he was doing the work to make Allah happy.
It wasn’t done for some ulterior motive to being seen by others, it wasn’t a show for others to say, “look how nice and great I am”. No, it was done solely for the purpose of pleasing Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala.
Imam As Sadiq said, “Anyone who performs a small act for the sake of God, God will make it bigger than he wishes in the sight of others. And anyone who performs a great act for the sake of people, God will make it trivial in the sight of others.”
So remember to recite this dua, Rabbana taqabbal minna inaka Antas Samee’ul Aleem. It’s a short an easy dua to learn and say it whenever you feel you have done something for Allah SWT. Inshallah he will accept it and give a multiple reward.
Answer:
بسمالله الرحمنالرحيم
We begin with Allah’s blessed name, we praise him and we glorify him, seek his forgiveness and ask him to guide us. Whoever Allah guides, None can lead astray and whoever he misguides, None can guide. There is no power and no strength except from Allah, The most high, the Most great, the most powerful. We bear witness that there is no one worthy of worship but Allah Alone, and we bear witness that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) is His slave-servant and the seal of His Messengers. We pray for peace and blessings on all the noble messengers and in particular on the last of them all “the blessed prophet Mohammad (pbuh)”
If anyone greets you with the greeting “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum” you should reply with the same greeting “Taqabbal Allahu minna wa minkum”. And Allah alone knows the best.
I ask Allah to make this a sincere effort, seeking his pleasure, and I ask him to grant us refuge in him from the evils within ourselves, and that in our deeds. I ask him to grant us success in achieving whatever pleases him; And May Allah Shower His blessings and mercy upon our beloved ProphetMuhammad (pbuh), his family and his Companions and on all those who follow him until the final hour.
